The school aims at child – centric education with holistic development of every child.
Pre-Nursery-Prep: There is no formal examination for students of Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Prep. The Report cards of the children are based on the assessment/evaluation done by their teacher on the basis of day to day observation and class tests in classes Pre. Nur. to Prep.
Classes I to IV:Classes I to IV have Four Formative Assessments in a year. Minimum 40% must be secured in aggregate and in every subject for Classes I to IV. Students are assessed on reading ,writing listening and speaking skills twice in a term. Each term also has a group and an individual formative assessment activity planned and graded. Due credit is given to regularity, punctuality, regular and timely submission of assignments and home-work as well as neatness. Marks are deducted for work which is untidy and illegible.
Promotion norms for Sr. Wing
Classes V-IX: For promotion to the next higher class: Minimum 40% must be secured in aggregate and in every subject in the final result.
Semester system: for classes V-VIII-the whole syllabus is divided in two parts and the examination are conducted in two semesters. The syllabus covered in first semester is not included in the second semester except for some topics in Mathematics and Science. There are two Summative Assessments in the months of October and February/March, apart from Formative assessments. Minimum 40% in each subject must be secured in each semester. Minimum 75% attendance is required for promotion.
